Recognizing Jesus as my &#8220;Savior&#8221; comes with all kinds of benefits.  But what does it mean to acknowledge an omnipotent ruler of my life? When I enter the protection of his kingdom and declare my loyalty to him, what does that mean about how I live and the choices I make?  Well, for one thing it means I no longer live in a democracy where I get one vote and God gets one vote.  Obedience takes on a whole new level of significance. I don&#8217;t particularly like this because I, like most of my cultural peers, like to keep my options open.  What about you?
